Capture leads with a website form
A website form turns what visitors type into a new lead and a shared contact, automatically. You can put it on your own website, or just share a link.
You must be an admin, and your Couchwork needs to be reachable from the internet (for example through a domain name), so visitors can send their enquiry to it.
Create the form
- Click Leads, then Website form at the top.
- Click Add form.
- Give it a Name, for example
Website enquiries. - Under New leads go to, choose the pipeline stage new enquiries should start in, and (if you like) who they're assigned to.
- Save it.
Put it on your website
Each form shows two things:
- A snippet of code. Copy it with the Copy button and paste it into your website where you want the form to appear. If a web designer looks after your site, send them this.
- A link to a ready-made page. No website needed: just share the link in an email or on social media.
Switch it on and off
The switch next to the form's name turns it on (Accepting) or off. If a form starts getting spam, use New form id to stop the old code working, then paste the new code into your site.
Stopping spam
Basic spam checks are always on. For proper protection, click Set up Turnstile and paste in your keys. Turnstile is free from Cloudflare (dash.cloudflare.com → Turnstile).
If you see a warning that your address is private, open Advanced in the Website forms window and enter the public address of your Couchwork. Visitors can't reach a private address.
