Find your way around Couchwork
Couchwork has four main areas and a settings page. They are all in the slim bar down the left-hand side of the screen.
The left-hand bar
- Chat: team chat with channels and direct messages. This is also where you talk to the AI assistant.
- Contacts: your shared address book of customers and companies.
- Leads: your sales pipeline. Each enquiry is a card that moves along from left to right.
- Email: read and send email from your connected mailbox without leaving Couchwork (Set up an email box).
- Guide: a short setup guide that pops up. Open it again whenever you like.
- Settings: your profile, colours and (for admins) everything about the workspace.
Tip
On a computer you can switch area with the keyboard: ⌘1 to ⌘5 on a Mac, in the order above. ⌘K opens search.
On your phone
Open your Couchwork address in your phone's browser. The same areas appear as tabs along the bottom of the screen. You can install it on your home screen, see Use Couchwork on your phone.
Who can see what
Everyone can use Chat, Contacts, Leads and Email. Most of the Settings pages are for admins only. If you can't see a settings page this guide mentions, ask your admin. See Add a team member for the different roles.
